Role Overview - We are looking for a Product Analyst who can own product analytics end-to-end from instrumentation and metric design to insight generation, experimentation, and roadmap influence. The role requires strong analytical depth, product judgment, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations that drive product and business outcomes.

🎯 What Success Looks Like in This Role

Partner with Product, Engineering, Business, and Leadership teams to define product problems, success metrics, and analytical frameworks.

Own product instrumentation and event tracking to ensure accurate measurement of features, launches, and user journeys.

Analyze user behavior across funnels, retention, engagement, conversion, adoption, and monetization to generate actionable insights.

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and product health metrics to track performance and identify growth opportunities.

Develop self-serve analytics solutions, reusable data models, and semantic layers to enable data-driven decision-making.

Work with large datasets to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and key business insights.

Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments, including sample sizing, metric selection, result interpretation, and recommendations.

Identify and mitigate experimentation pitfalls such as biased samples, novelty effects, metric trade-offs, and low statistical power.

Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Independently solve ambiguous product and business problems using structured, data-driven analysis.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and Engineering teams to improve data quality, event tracking, and reporting processes.

Present insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.

📋 Requirements & Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar role.

Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Good understanding of product metrics, funnels, retention, conversion, and A/B testing.

Experience working with large datasets to generate actionable insights.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Good to Have

Experience with Hive, Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar distributed data systems.

Experience in consumer internet, marketplace, fitness, health-tech, subscription, or digital product companies.

Prior experience working closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Engineering, and Design teams.

Strong product intuition and ability to connect user behavior with business impact.
